• Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months, counting from the day you leave Taiwan.
• Your passport must contain at least one blank, completely clear “VISAS” page (amendments and endorsement pages do not count).
• Your passport must be signed and in good condition. The consulate staff may reject your passport if they find it to be in damaged condition, even if you don’t think that’s the case.

How to fill in your visa application form:

• Professional passport-type photographs: 2 (two) – Must be recent photos taken within the previous 6 months

• Submit a print-out of your most recent statement of bank account activities

• If you have been issued a visa to Taiwan  in the past, you MUST submit your original passport (even if expired or cancelled) showing your last or most recent previous visa to Taiwan. The Taiwan consulate may disregard this requirement at their discretion, but it is a requirement and you must have it available for submission

• A simple, clear photocopy of your student ID from USC

• Confirmed Flight & Hotel Itinerary print-out
• USC Support Letter addressed to the consulate of Taiwan

• Your original permanent resident card (green card), I-94, or valid I-20, F1 visa, or advance parole originals.
